💖Join us this month for a special Golden Agers Lunch & Learn on April 24th!💖

🤓We'll be learning about defibrillators starting at 10:30 AM at the Loyal Library, followed by a delicious and nutritious meal.

🍽Adults 60 and older are welcome to stay for lunch with a suggested contribution of $4.50—but remember, no one is ever turned away if unable to pay.

📞Please call the library at 715‑255‑8189 to reserve your meal. We hope to see you there!

Preventing falls at home doesn’t have to be complicated. Simple adjustments can make a huge difference:

✅ Keep pathways clear of clutter
✅ Add nightlights in hallways and bathrooms
✅ Use non-slip mats in the shower or tub
✅ Secure loose rugs and get rid of throw rugs that bunch up
✅ Install grab bars near toilets and in the shower

Last week, Lynn and Kaitlin led an interactive nutrition session at the Owen Center. Participants jumped into great conversations about sodium, fiber, hydration, and more—asking questions, sharing experiences, and learning practical tips for everyday wellness.

Everyone went home with a sample of salt‑free seasoning to help support heart‑healthy cooking at home.
