This letter, on top of a mountain of others supporting denial of the tower, should be seriously considered. These are leaders in the field who write books on these issues weighing in on our small battle here.

They are NOT the same as these consultants who make their living saying what developers want them to say.

We truly hope our local boards won't ignore this expert advice.

Residents of Nelsonville, NY have organized, gone door-to-door, held all-night writing sessions, and invested financially in the fight to preserve our historic cemetery. This includes hiring an independent engineering consultant who spent 3 months identifying the numerous inconsistencies and flawed logic in the application submitted by the cell tower developer.

Resident Harold Akselrad has fronted this amount, and we've created a Go Fund Me page to help reimburse him.

At a cost of 10K+, this was not an insignificant price for the community to shoulder. With over 42 personal donations, we've raised over half this amount.

Please consider donating to this fund. No amount is too small. The point is to show Harold and others that we are in this together and that the community of Nelsonville supports its neighbors.
