NBRTA met this past Wednesday at the Circle Arts Theatre in Landa Park. Meerie F. informed us on upcoming productions, led us backstage, and had us up on stage doing actor's "exercises". 15 Jars of peanut butter and $111.00 were given to Alison H. for the SOS Foodbank Peanut Butter Bowl. Stacey D. encouraged us to volunteer at the NB Youth Collaborative. Contact Kurt Klein with AMBA for a Golden Corral lunch on September 15 & 16. Invite potential NBRTA members to come with you. “Kick Off Meeting”-Wednesday, September 2, 2026-
Circle Arts Theatre in Landa Park- 9:30 for coffee and back to school snacks…NOT GOING BACK!!!!(Address is 124 Elizabeth Avenue, New Braunfels, 78130) NBRTA member Meerie Fox is program leader presenting Circle Arts 58th season. Reviews of past seasons and teasers of future programs are part of the morning. Who will get to go backstage? Hard copy NBRTA Directories and digital for 2026-2027 are still being revised. (Many emails do not work.)September 2, is also the photo directory kick off (Optional Participation). Bring $5.00 or peanut butter for the annual SOS Food Bank Peanut Butter Bowl. NBRTA member, Alison Hock, is in charge of the SOS Food Bank. Stacey Dicke will be available to answer questions about volunteering at the NB Youth Collaborative. Kurt Klein of AMBA Insurance will also be available. Door Prizes!! (Pay Dues)

Yesterday the NBRTA executive board and committee chairs met at Montana Mikes for a very productive meeting. New roles were tried on and old roles were improved. Our first meeting will be September 2 at the Circle Arts Theatre in Landa Park. Part of the fiirst meetng will be a tour of Circle Arts backstage. Our second meeting will be October 7 at the NB Main Library, "No Fear-AI" presented by Randy M.. We all enjoyed a very good meal at Montana Mikes and officers took a picture in front of the fireplace. NBRTA met on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 10:30 in beautiful Landa Park. Lunch started at 11:00 with yummy salads, desserts and potluck dishes. The meeting was about NBRTA member recognition and speaker Jeff Bransford, Director of NB Park Development “New Parks & Trails are the Future” We learned about new parking and other projects and about the other 43 parks in the NB city limits. Christine T. laid down her President's "Hat" and it has been picked up by Randy M. Door Prizes were passed out along with a Krauses's card from AMBA by Kurt Klein. NBRTA took up a collection to benefit the NB homeless resulting in $110.00. ( The March NBRTA meeting was given by Kellie Stallings and Paul Padillas of NB Housing Partners.) Joe Ramirez was a special guest. The future June Meeting of NBRTA officers, Chairs and Planners of 2026-2027 NBRTA future school year. Please let Christine or Randy M. know if you are also interested in planning 26-27.

(Come to Pavilion #16 in Landa Park across from Putt Putt Course) Bring salads/desserts/potluck dishes to share. Setups /plates and drinks will be provided.
