The results tonight were not in my favor unfortunately. I was optimistic with the absentee numbers before today, but this District has always been red so I knew it was going to be a tough one to flip. I’m honored to have come SO close. Closer than any other Democrat ever. So humbled that almost as many voters wanted me to win as my opponent. Hopeful for the rest of the ballot and saying prayers for our State and Country tonight. 🇺🇸

Election Eve!!! Is anyone else ready for tomorrow to be over? 😳

I’ve had several folks reach out to me to ask if I plan to keep me seat on the School Board if I’m elected and the answer is YES!! I didn’t join the School Board for election votes. I joined because I enjoy being part of the process, to know the system where my kids go to school, and be involved in my community in any way that I can. With my twins in kindergarten and a three year old on their heels, I hope to hold my position on our School Board for a long time!!! 🍎

There is NOTHING that speaks louder than a politicians voting record. Nothing. They can state their claims and what they stand for, but it all comes down to how they cast their vote in the end. It becomes public record and available to everyone. So before casting YOUR vote I encourage everyone, regardless of party affiliation, to research a candidates voting record if there’s something your passionate about. If you can’t find it, ask. You may be surprised when you know the facts. 🇺🇸
