Slowing down with a newspaper 🗞️ and a cocktail 🍸 in hand…

At Peristyle, the simple moments make each day feel special to our residents.

Happy hour is a chance to unwind, catch up on the day’s headlines, share stories, enjoy a few laughs, and spend time together.

There’s something comforting about turning the pages of a newspaper the old-fashioned way—staying connected to what’s happening in the world while also staying connected to the people right beside you.

It’s these familiar routines, shared conversations, and little traditions that help create a true sense of community and give our residents something to look forward to each day.

💃 🕺 There’s so much more happening on the dance floor at Peristyle than smiles and laughter.

Research shows that dancing can help support memory 🤔, cognitive function 🧠, balance, and emotional well-being 😃 as we age - and frequent dancing was associated with a significantly lower risk of dementia than any other leisure activity studied. ♥️ 🙏🏼 ♥️

We love seeing our residents move to the music, enjoy each other’s company, and create joyful moments together. Every song, every step, and every smile is a celebration of living well. 🏡

Because sometimes the best medicine is simply turning up the music. 🎶

Before sitting down for a meal, our residents gathered for a lively rendition of Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Moments like these are a sweet reminder that community is built on shared memories, good food, and a little music.

Seeing friendships bloom, hearing favorite songs fill the dining room, and watching smiles spread from table to table is what makes Peristyle Residences home, sweet home. It’s these everyday moments of laughter and companionship that make life here so special. ⚾🎶
