Qualified members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary may support Coast Guard Health Services missions by assisting clinics, sickbays, and SAR stations near their communities. Their service helps expand medical support capabilities and strengthen readiness across the Coast Guard.

Authorized missions include:
⚓ Supporting Coast Guard Medical Clinics and Sickbays
⚓ Providing on-the-water Emergency Medical Services support
⚓ Teaching CPR, AED, and First Aid to Active Duty, Reserve, and Auxiliary members

Physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, EMTs, and allied health professionals bring their expertise to these important missions both ashore and afloat. Certified instructors also help deliver lifesaving training throughout the Coast Guard and Auxiliary.

Service above self takes many forms — including caring for the health and safety of others.
