🚨 From Red Tag to Fully Operational 🚨
Gulf Coast Special Systems was recently called out to a 16-building apartment complex after their fire alarm system was red tagged with over 250 faults on the panel.
After a thorough assessment, our team identified multiple devices that had been damaged by high voltage events, along with significant wiring issues from the original installation.
We got to work: ✔️ Replaced all damaged devices
✔️ Corrected wiring errors throughout the system
✔️ Installed surge protection across the entire campus
Today, we’re proud to report the system is fully operational, green tagged, and the facility is officially off fire watch. ✅

Marine Corps Forces Reserve Headquarters – Algiers, City of New Orleans, Louisiana
Gulf Coast Special Systems recently completed the full replacement of a 225-door access control system, along with a major upgrade to the facility’s video surveillance system, at the Marine Corps Forces Reserve Headquarters in Algiers.

Working under the supervision of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and in close coordination with base personnel, our team successfully delivered this large-scale security upgrade ahead of schedule and without disrupting ongoing security operations.

This project reflects our ability to execute complex, mission-critical security system upgrades in high-security environments while maintaining operational continuity and meeting demanding project requirements.
