Hello beloved supporters, and Happy New Year!
After many months of unfortunate inactivity due to Covid-19, we are gearing up to get back out there. Our group will be doing our utmost to structure our upcoming trips in such a way that we adhere to all CDC guidelines and health and safety protocols. Gloves, masks, and sanitizer will be provided to all volunteers as well as temperature checks prior to trip departures. New guidelines for distribution of supplies are being reviewed and established. It is our goal to protect the safety and wellbeing of our volunteers and the displaced peoples who receive our outreach, as we strive to promote love and compassion in these incredibly unsettling and uncertain times. Stay tuned for future dates of upcoming trips, including our newly added Hyannis Homeless Outreach circuit.
Thank you so much for all of your support and your continued enthusiasm! The outpouring of donations and volunteered time by our community has made every trip not only possible, but incredibly successful and fulfilling.
Newest needs include: comfortable shoes/sneakers, mens pants, warm jackets/winter coats, gloves/hats/scarves, womens pants,. new unopened packs of womens underwear, sleeping bags, hand warmers, small portable tents, travel size toothpaste/deodorant, cases of water

Volunteer Outreach

This is a page to spread awareness of an important issue, create further communication from our local Cape Cod community, and promote the GoFundMe to aid in 4 separate treks to Boston to assist the displaced in high-volume homeless areas. We will be spending time with each individual lending a listening ear and giving them care packages with items such as coats, food, toiletries, and much more. We've come up with quite a lot of essential items that they may not have readily access to already such as: easy food to eat that's high in protein and nutrients, and many other goodies. We would just like to add to this for future trips. People who’d like to donate physical items can communiate with the group here about what is still needed and other ideas about what we may not have thought of. We will be heading up for our first group trip on February 10th so anything donated after that will just go to March's trip. About 8 people have committed thus far and we will be taking up 3 vehicles, parking in Braintree, and travel via public transportation with backpacks and suitcases. This is a flexible project, everyone is receiving donations, and working with programs to receive further assistance. The list below contains an ongoing itinerary for things we will be buying and collecting as donations but nothing is limited. If you are unable to donate that is perfectly fine, just share this with all your friends and encourage them to share with theirs. Humanization of people is what really matters here. These people just need smiles, conversation, and a moment of your time. Thank you in advance from all of us, expect updates, photos, and stories so follow this page and feel free to message us!
