Walker Challenger Division A division of Walker athletics dedicated to children with special needs. We're currently raising funds for a special needs field. All support is appreciated!

Our 50+ players are amazing, loving, children who are excited at the opportunity to play sports! The Challenger Division is open to all children with special needs in Walker, AND surrounding areas! All are welcome! We are currently in Baseball season, and there will be Basketball in the fall. All sports are adapted to each child's need, with the assistance of Coaches, "Buddies", and countless supp

orters. The games bring MANY fans who cheer for every player, filling them with pride! The fun is guaranteed, the smiles are constant, the memories are life long, and the self-confidence level in each player rises through the roof! Come join the fun! Sign a child up to play, volunteer, come to a game, or just show your support by "Liking" us. Thank you

The City of Walker's Christmas parade is almost here! Saturday, Dec 2nd, 11am. We are still accepting registrations for floats, trucks, jeeps, antique cars, marching groups, and more. Please contact our Parks and Rec Department for a registration form. Walker High School

Time changed 2:15-2:30 to welcome home our LSU College World Series Champions sue to flight delays.

Fans were initially encouraged to show up at Alex Box Stadium at 1:30 pm., but because the team’s plane was delayed, LSU officials are now saying the Tigers won’t be arriving until 2:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Hi everyone! I have a quick question, and plea for help! My son is a junior at Walker High, and the school year is coming to an end. I would love for students to have a copy of Dr. Seuss' Oh the Places You'll Go. Does anyone have an idea or contact that would be willing or able to donate for this? I know Walker High has 40 students, I'm sure other schools have numerous as well....any ideas would be helpful, thank you!!
