I am really honored to have served the Town of New Paltz for nearly a decade and proud of the work collectively done. I will stay in office for a few more weeks and then shift my focus to the work in Rep. Pat Ryan’s office!

New Paltz Deputy Supervisor Daniel Torres announced at last week’s town board meeting that he will be leaving the town council "in the next few weeks or months," after close to a decade on that board.

We're coordinating with cities, towns and villages throughout Ulster County to offer free at-home rapid COVID-19 tests, with distribution starting next week. Here's the current list!

Please contact your town's offices with any questions.

More distribution locations will be announced. School districts will be announcing plans for distributing 22,000 test kits to the students of Ulster County. Partnering non-profit organizations will be distributing kits to their clients.

Please remember to call ahead to make arrangements for outside pick-up if you are symptomatic to stem the spread of COVID-19.

It’s been eleven years since Dr. Margaret Wade-Lewis died after courageous and lengthy battles against multiple bouts of cancer. During these many years since, her daughter, Esi Lewis, always refers to me as “my mother’s besty,” a title I love.
