Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m grateful for the moments I’ve shared with our seniors, bringing resources back to support their needs. I’m thankful for the opportunity to fight for better education for our children, knowing they deserve every chance to thrive. I’m thankful for the strength of our AAPI community and the chance to uplift and inspire the next generation of leaders.

Glad to see significant improvement of our students's school lunch!

This spring, I listened to the concerns of parents and students and called on the city to address the need for better school lunch quality this spring.

A student shared this photo with me last week, grateful for the improvement she’s seen in her lunch! The work doesn't stop here, I will continue to ensure our students not just been served healthy lunch, but also quality education!

November is National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month. I'm proud to pass the bill to include Alzheimer's and dementia in our Health Care and Wellness Education and Outreach Program. It's important to provide early intervention, and potentially delay the need for nursing home care. Let's raise awareness and continue provide resources to families in need!

Had fantastic time celebrating Halloween with PS 170, NIA Community Services Network, Chinese-American Planning Councilcpc_nyc, Homecrest Community Services, Inc., Parent Child Relationship Association, United Chinese Association of Brooklyn, AREAA, EAA 美亞共同促進會 Empowerment of American Asians Inc. at several events. So great to see so many families and kids enjoying our fun events and beautiful fall weather!

Honored to join Chinese-American Planning Council for their Brooklyn Harvest Moon Benefit, celebrating 45 years of service in Brooklyn. Thank you for all you do to empower our community! It was a true privilege to present an award to Kin Ng, Bureau Chief of Brooklyn District Attorney's Office, whom I’ve known for almost 20 years. I deeply appreciate his dedication to criminal justice and his contributions to the AAPI community!
