Miss Presenter Haneen? ‼️

That certainly has a ring to it! On the 13th, we got the opportunity to visit the New York University campus and talk about Project Arambha to a 1M1B (1 Million for 1 Billion) panel consisting of change makers in New York's non-profit sector. This included Ali Mustafa from the UN Civil Society Youth Representatives Steering Committee and Elizabeth Saunders from UC Berkeley 💫

We respect how much leaders are beginning to value the youth as we keep pushing our limits and trying to change the world 🌏

One panelist told me before the event that the problem we are trying to solve is always bigger than us- so that is what the source of our passion should be 📢

P.S. Disha was on her way to New York at the time, coming straight from her finals' examination hall (gotta appreciate the hustle) 🙈

A dream come true! 💫

We had always looked forward to going to the United Nations headquarters to present our work and to share the experiences we've had serving the people our country 🇮🇳

What an honour to finally get this opportunity and we can't wait to use this as a stepping stone to further carry on advocating for the UN SDGs ✊

Some speculate that they will not be able to be achieved by the deadline- 2030. But if there's one thing we’ve learned from this journey, it is that the youth can if not achieve these, can bring all of us closer than ever to a more equitable and developed world 🌏
