As survivors, we can get caught up in trying to control everything as a coping mechanism due to experiencing abuse. That control can affect the places we live.

We encourage you to make your home a sanctuary. It doesn’t have to be perfect and look like everyone else’s.

Start with tidying up and you will see a difference in your mood. Stay encouraged 😌

To all who care for others and themselves,

🌱As advocates, we need to rest in order to help people.

🌱As mothers, we need rest and in order to take care of our children.

🌱As caregivers, we need rest in order to care for the ones we love. 

🌱As social workers, teachers, doctors, therapists and the like, we need rest in order to serve clients, students and our community.

🌱As a human being, we NEED rest!

✨It’s not an option, it’s a command that God put in place. Because He loves us and knows we can’t run on empty.

🚰He fills us and refreshes us when we live in a place of REST.
