Hi all! I hope everyone is doing well. Just a quick recap! So Cigall Daboosh Goldman had asked about Chess in the area, Elana Zelniker Krieger said, her son is a chess tutor and I said, we need this for our kids, then suggested we make our own group... and the rest is history! I have received more inquiries and that is absolutelywonderful! My son and Cigall’s Daughter had a wonderful chess lesson @ McDonald Park on Queens Boulevard this past Tuesday. Harrison was a very a kind, patient and skilled Chess Coach. So far it is looking like Fridays at 5 pm and Sundays @ 3 pm. Below you find pics of our first lesson with Harrison. Please message me if you are interested. I can go on about how great this is for them to be in the outdoors and in the sunlight - talk about how great chess is for their minds, being a blueprint for life and the benefits of physical activity and socializing.... But you already know all about that. If you were concerned that your child is at a different level or rating, don’t worry we addressed that and already secured another coach to split the kids up. I will be waiting to hear from everyone who is interested, so we know how to proceed with the number of coaches and we can get a better idea of a price point.
So we have Friday at 5 PM and Sunday @ 3 PM. Fridays are booked up for now but we have some Sunday slots open.
