👽🌴 This island looks more like another planet than a place on Earth.
Located between 🇾🇪 Yemen and 🇸🇴 Somalia, Socotra Island is often called "The Alien Island" because of its surreal landscapes and strange-looking plants.
🌳 Its most famous resident is the Dragon Blood Tree, a unique umbrella-shaped tree that produces a deep red sap and grows naturally almost nowhere else on Earth.
🦎 Nearly 90% of its reptiles and 🐌 95% of its land snails are found nowhere else, thanks to millions of years of isolation.
🌍 Separated from the mainland for around 20 million years, Socotra has evolved into one of the most unique ecosystems on the planet.
👀 Even today, around 60,000 people live here, preserving an ancient culture, language, and way of life that has survived for generations.
