My mother ( Amenah Rababah)passed away in Jordan this morning. I pray to Almighty GOD to have mercy on her soul and grant her the highest place in His spacious Paradise.

The Yonkers Muslim democratic Caucus appreciates Mayor Spano for taking the time today to meet and addressing various Muslim and Community issues. Thank you Mayor Spano for the understanding and being open minded. We look forward to continuing our relationship and to future meetings with Mayor Spano, Deputy Mayor Steven levy, and Steve Sansone Yonkers parks commissioner and their dedicated staff.

On behalf of the Muslim community in Yonkers and Westchester, the Muslim Democratic Caucus conveys its sincerest condolences to our dear Mayor Mike Spano and his family for the passing of his beloved mother. We mourn with you and we stand by you during this difficult time. May she rest in peace.
