We are stronger because of the hard work and dedication of our valued union workers. These are the individuals who are committed to building a better future for all New Yorkers, and I am so very appreciative for the effort that they put in to keep our city running. I am a strong supporter of unions, and as Brooklyn Borough President I will continue my advocacy on worker protection issues including pay equity, safer working environments, and the job benefits that workers need to raise their families.

I have been a public servant my entire career, and I have had the great honor of representing the 40th District in the New York City Council since 2007. Now I am ready to expand my advocacy for hardworking people across Brooklyn, and that is why I am running to be the next Brooklyn Borough President.
