Housing Lottery Launches for Glenmore Manor in Brownsville, Brooklyn

The affordable housing lottery has launched for Glenmore Manor, an 11-story mixed-use building at 76 Christopher Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Designed by Think! Architecture and Design and developed by African American Planning Commission, the structure yields 233 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 233 units for residents at 30 to 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $22,492 to $160,720.

The amenities include 24-hour security, fitness room, a shared laundry room, common area Wi-Fi, bike storage, package room, community room, tenant storage, party room, and outdoor courtyard. Residences have air conditioning, energy-efficient stainless-steel appliances, and name-brand kitchen appliances. Tenants are responsible for electricity. https://shorturl.at/tk8KG

Glenmore Manor Apartments

Our housing development project is finally here: 233 units of affordable housing in Brownsville, Brooklyn

The affordable housing lottery has begun for the Glenmore Manor Apartments, an 11-story building at 76 Christopher Ave. in Brownsville.

The newly constructed mixed-unit building will have 233 units ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. Amenities include a fitness room, 24-hour security, a community room and free in-unit broadband internet.

Tenants are responsible for electricity, while heat, hot water and gas for heating are included in the rent.

Apartments are being offered at 30 to 80 percent of the area median income (AMI). Eligible incomes range from $22,492 to $160,720.

For more information or to apply online, please go to https://housingconnect.nyc.gov/PublicWeb/details/7350. Prospective tenants must submit online applications by March 16, 2026.

To request an application by mail, send a self-addressed envelope to Glenmore Manor c/o Shinda Management Corporation, 221-10 Jamaica Ave., 3rd Floor, Queens Village, NY 11428. When you return it, the application must be postmarked by March 16.
