I saved a 3-year-old girl in the ER and raised her as my own — then, on her 18th birthday, a box arrived with a note that said: "YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT SHE'S BEEN HIDING FROM YOU."

Before my husband passed away, he asked me to deliver a sealed letter to a woman I had never met—after reading the first line, she looked at me and asked, "Did he tell you everything?"
My husband, Zane, and I were married for thirty-four years.
He was not just my husband.
He was my best friend.
