About Judge McElduff
Judge McElduff resides in Slate Hill with his wife Patricia and their three children, Liam, Fiona, and Kaitlyn, who attend school in the Minisink Valley Central School District. The McElduff’s are active volunteers and community servants in Orange County, and Judge McElduff has served on the board of directors of the Newburgh YMCA and currently serves on the boards of Inspire, the Orange County Cerebral Palsy Association, Inc. and Minisink Valley Little League. He is a past president, vice president, coach, and active volunteer for Minisink Valley Little League. Judge McElduff is also a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #16365.
Judge McElduff, a partner at the leading Orange County law firm of Drake Loeb PLLC, has been admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey for more than 20 years, focusing his practice on all aspects of civil litigation with extensive experience in Surrogate’s Court matters such as estate administration, will contests, guardianships, judicial accountings, removal/appointment of fiduciaries, and discovery proceedings.
For the past 12 years, Judge McElduff has also served his community as Town Justice in the Town of Wawayanda, one of Orange County’s busiest town and village courts, adjudicating thousands of civil, traffic, and criminal matters. He has been elected to this position for three consecutive four-year terms on the Republican, Conservative, and Independence party lines. A member of the Orange County Magistrates Association, he was honored to be elected to serve as their President in 2013-2014. Judge McElduff has also volunteered as a judge in the Orange County Mock Trial Competition.
