Enjoy the long weekend as there is no school on Monday!

PSA: To those who ride electric scooters and e-bikes. Please be aware of your surroundings when riding to and from school. They should not be used as entertainment devices on school grounds, only as a form of transportation. Keep them parked during the school day and during lunch unless leaving campus. You are creating dangerous situations for yourself and others when driving erratically.

Students, we know the pace may feel differently than years past. Keep working hard to ensure you stay caught up in classes and use your ER time effectively.

We hope all students had a good first week of the school year! Lots of change in the air, and students and staff are adjusting to the new 7-period day schedule.

SENIORS: If you are planning on retaking the ACT, please sign up with Mrs. Branscom in the office before Wednesday September 2nd at noon so we can register you for it.

Student registration for Eastern Wyoming College concurrent and dual enrollment courses will be this upcoming week. Please check into your ER class and head to the commons and meet with Mrs. Conzelman for more information on your grade level’s assigned day. It is an electronic registration this year with important information and the link in the 8/28/26 email to students from Mrs. Conzelman.

Parents/Guardians and Athletes,

Practice for Fall Sports begins Augusts 17th. Please contact your coach for specific practice information. All athletes must have a physical completed before participating in practice.

IF you plan to participate in ANY athletic season this year, please read the following message carefully and complete the new requirement for concussion education.

According to WHSAA (Wyoming High School Athletic Association), every coach, parent, and athlete must have a mandatory yearly concussion education. This education will be offered by a video through NFHS as a free course – the link is below. At the end of this video, the parent AND athlete will receive a certificate which is required to be emailed/hand delivered to the athletic director. This must be completed and the AD must have both certificates before the first competition, or the athlete will not be allowed to play/travel.

Again, this is in accordance with WHSAA requirements and BOTH a parent/guardian and athlete must complete the education before the first competition. Please complete this traning and e-mail certificates to [email protected] and [email protected]
