This morning, we officially kicked off my re-election campaign at the Ruby River Hotel, joined by more than 120 supporters from across Spokane County.

It remains an incredible honor to serve as your County Sheriff alongside the dedicated men and women in uniform who work every day to keep our communities safe.

I’m proud to announce that I’m running for re-election as Spokane County Sheriff.

Over the past 28 years serving in the Sheriff’s Office, and since taking office as Sheriff in 2023, my focus has been simple: keep Spokane County safe and strengthen the Sheriff’s Office for the people we serve.

Together we’ve made real progress by addressing staffing shortages, improving recruitment and retention, launching a Real Time Crime Center, and expanding professional training so our deputies have the tools they need to respond quickly and effectively.

Public safety requires steady leadership, accountability, and experience. Every decision I make as Sheriff comes down to one question: does this make our community safer?

I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to continuing this work with the people of Spokane County.
