I was honored to have received this Commonwealth Ambassador recognition in 2019. I was on shift with with the fire department that day. Both City & County fire department’s came together for flag detail at Military Freedom Fest. It sure does mean a lot to play a small part in honoring the men and women who have served our country. Supporting our veterans and showing appreciation for their sacrifices will always be something I’m proud to stand behind. If you’ve never attended Freedom Fest, I highly recommend coming out and supporting.

Our Nicholasville-Jessamine County Parks & Recreation Summer Camp Registration is now open!

7 Weeks of FUN! Camp runs June 8 – July 31, 2026. (No camp June 19th & June 29th -July 3rd).
