We're so close to covering all 77 counties in Oklahoma for the 2026 Great American Cleanup, but we still need volunteers in 5 counties! 🌿🧤

Could one of these be yours?📍 Cotton | Dewey | Nowata | Pushmataha | Roger Mills |

What a morning at Lake Arcadia! 💚 Together with our KOB staff, board members, and an incredible group of volunteers from Ernst & Young, we cleaned up 44 bags of trash and a crate of sharps from a beloved lake. That is no small thing — and it would not have been possible without every single person who showed up and got to work. Thank you for loving Oklahoma as much as we do. 🌿

Happy Earth Day, Oklahoma! 🌍

Did you know Oklahoma is one of only four states with more than 10 unique ecoregions? An ecoregion is a distinct area of land or water characterized by shared environmental conditions, like climate, geography, soils, and natural vegetation. From the High Plains of the Panhandle to the cypress swamps of the South-Central Pine Plains, from the tallgrass prairies to the Ouachita Mountains, from the Ozark Highlands to the Cross Timbers, Oklahoma holds more ecological diversity per mile than any other state in the country! Today, and every day, Keep Oklahoma Beautiful tries to honor all of this diverse beauty.

This Earth Day, let's recommit to protecting Oklahoma's red earth!

🌟 Big news from New Orleans! Our Executive Director, Evelyn Schaefer, is representing Keep Oklahoma Beautiful at the Keep America Beautiful conference — and we couldn’t be more proud. KOB was honored with the KAB Innovation Award for our work along the iconic Route 66 corridor, and Evelyn had the chance to share our story in a short presentation to fellow affiliates from across the country.

It takes a village, and we are so grateful to be part of such an incredible network of people who show up for their communities every single day. Here’s to the work that connects us all. 🛣️✨

Yesterday’s Winter Workshop was everything we hoped it would be and more! So grateful to our incredible speakers who shared insights on public art, pollinators, and the amazing work happening across Oklahoma.

We are thankful to Keep Broken Arrow Beautiful for hosting our lunch time presentation, and we loved recognizing Peggy Glenn, one of their most devoted community members!

Every attendee left with a sweet potato vine cutting to take home🥰
