David Najjar Information about the courts in Hamilton County, Indiana I am the incumbent Judge of Hamilton Superior Court 5. In addition, I frequently teach about the U.S.

I was appointed to the bench by Governor Eric Holcomb in the fall of 2017 to fill the remaining three years of my predecessor, Judge Wayne Sturtevant. Currently I handle a diverse caseload of civil and criminal cases. Prior to my appointment as judge, I served Hamilton County for over twelve years as Magistrate, presiding over all types of civil and criminal cases, and for seven years as a deputy

prosecuting attorney, handling major felonies. I've been active in the community with my church, St. George Orthodox Church in Fishers and with my kids in Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. Constitution in our local schools, judge mock trial competitions and speak at professional conferences on legal issues, primarily in the area of family law.
