Sing Life's mission is to bring hope to the homeless through portable worship music. We do this by putting together Life Kits which include a portable CD player, headphones, and a mixed CD of powerful worship music along with basic necessities and resource connection for where to seek further assistance. As a student organization based out of The University of Oklahoma, we believe this is a solid
ministry for the values it shares by reminding the homeless community that they, as individuals, are necessary to this world. The ministry of Sing Life provides a sense of casual entertainment in hearing the powerful Gospel presented. Each Life Kit enables each individual to do what he or she needs to do while also hearing the Gospel. They can listen to this CD as they are walking, as they are sleeping, as they are eating, etc. Most importantly, they can listen to the music together, leading to community. Few things are more powerful than seeing one individual share their headphones with another. In addition to the above mentioned, each Life Kit will be filled with various local flyers of where to get help, alongside a few basic necessities. We believe in Sing Life because we know God will use His people for His glory in any way, shape, or form. For this ministry, we believe this is through profound and life changing worship music that will remind them that they are unconditionally loved and that, despite their harsh circumstance, they do have purpose.
