Sorry we've been quiet, but we are back and read for summer reading fun!
The learning bus is our library on wheels and you can catch Mrs Penner on it every Thursday in June from 6-8 at Westwood. That's June 11th, 18th, and 25th.
If that doesn't work for you, you can catch the bus at other stops all around Norman. Checked out books can be returned to the bus or Roo when school is back in session.

Our first crew of 1st graders came through the mud kitchen today!
They got to visit the plants they planted and helped themself to the flowers and herbs to make some yummy smelling mud pies.
We even got out the mortar and pestle so they could explore and experiment even further.

Our favorite garden girl came out to kick off a corner of our pollinator beds!
We partnered with Mrs. Peterson's 3rd graders to plant some plants, move-in some earthworms, and release some ladybugs. It was a great day to be outside 🌱☀️

Roughriders, we have come to the time in the year when the books have to return to the library. Those books can be pesky hiders, so be sure to look in bags, under beds, and even in the backseat!
