Another thank you to my 2nd grade daughter who encouraged me to choose the little leaders books to read that she enjoys! The day was priceless!

All Montgomery County Courts, buildings, and facilities are closed tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 23, due to inclement weather.

When the Courthouse is closed due to inclement weather, all scheduled matters (in-person and virtual) will be rescheduled for another day by Chambers or Court Administration for the respective Court Department.

The blistering cold and element couldn't hold us back from marching in solidarity to combat youth violence in our community. They say it takes a village and according to our late and great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” Thank you Councilman Will McCoy and the many other community champions for your dedication to creating change. Thanksgiving Eve was a success and many were blessed with a delicious meal in our community! Grateful for amazing community partners and kind hearted people who simply want to give and help the next person during these times! Thank you to all who made this possible. Thank you Haws Avenue United Methodist Church for opening your doors and connecting us to some of our most vulnerable who deserve a break! Thank you Neighborly's Catering for the great feast you provided! Thank you Caple Legacy Foundation for the vision and partnership! Fellow volunteers and local leaders, thank you!

Teamwork makes the dream work! As a result, we were able to assist hundreds of community residents as we approach Thanksgiving and the Holiday season! It can be a challenging time for many and I'm thankful to have worked alongside of some great community partners to deliver resources and hope this season! It takes a village and that's exactly what was displayed last night!
