🚒 **Every second and every inch matters.**

Parking on both sides of a residential street may not always be illegal, but it can create a serious challenge for emergency vehicles trying to get through.

Fire engines, ambulances, ladder trucks, and other response vehicles are larger than most people realize. When both sides of the road are lined with vehicles, it can slow us down, limit access, or even prevent us from reaching someone who needs help.

Before you park, take a moment to look around:

Can an engine fit through?

Can crews access a hydrant?

Could your vehicle delay help getting to your neighbor, your family, or your home?

A little awareness can make a big difference when the call comes in. Help us help you by leaving room for emergency response vehicles to safely pass.

**Clear streets save time. Saved time saves lives.**

🚨🔔 It’s ! 🔔🚨
Take 60 seconds today to press the test button on your smoke alarm. That little beep could be the sound that saves a life.
👉 Have you tested yours yet this month? Drop a ✅ in the comments if you did, or a 🔧 if you still need to!
✅ Working alarms double your chance of escaping a fire safely.
✅ Test monthly, replace batteries yearly, replace the alarm every 10 years.

At this point, Monday feels less like a day of the week and more like a recurring subscription nobody remembers signing up for. 😵‍💫☕️

Every seven days it just shows back up like:
“Miss me?”
No. No we did not. 🚒😂

Stay strong out there. Coffee is brewing, radios are chirping, and somehow Friday is still five business years away.

🔥 Thought Thursday 🔥

Kids are curious.
A lighter or match can look like a toy, a gadget, or a tiny science experiment waiting to happen. Unfortunately, it only takes seconds for curiosity to turn dangerous.

Keep matches and lighters stored up high, out of reach, and preferably locked away. And just as important: teach children that if they find them, they should leave them alone and tell an adult immediately. 🚒

The smallest hands can accidentally start the biggest fires.

Parents, what’s one fire safety lesson you make sure your kids know early? 👇

# # # **Wander Wisely Wednesday 🏨✈️**

Checking into your hotel? Before you settle in, take a moment to locate your exits and review the evacuation map posted on the back of your room door.

✅ Find the nearest exit
✅ Identify a second way out
✅ Count the number of doors between your room and the exit

In an emergency, smoke and darkness can make it difficult to see. Knowing your escape route ahead of time can save valuable seconds when every second counts.

**A safe trip starts with knowing how to get out.**

Monday rolled in expecting smiles and motivation… and got *this face* instead. 🐶☕️

Somewhere out there, Friday is laughing at all of us while Monday walks around acting like it owns the place. We’re just trying to locate the coffee strong enough to fix this situation. 🚒😂

Hang in there everybody. The week’s only beginning, but at least we’re all suffering together.
