🚨 **TEST IT TUESDAY!** 🚨

That little button on your smoke alarm can make a BIG difference. 🔥🏠

Take a minute today to **press the test button on every smoke alarm in your home** and make sure you hear that loud BEEP! 📢

✅ Test smoke alarms at least once a month
✅ Make sure everyone in the home can hear them
✅ Replace alarms that are more than 10 years old
✅ If it doesn’t sound when tested, replace the battery or the alarm

A working smoke alarm gives you the early warning you need to **GET OUT and STAY OUT** when seconds count.

Help us welcome A1C Cody Whittington to the Joint Base Lindsay Graham Fire Emergency Services family! 🚒🇺🇸

A1C Whittington joins us fresh out of the Fire Academy and comes to us from Louisiana. We’re excited to have him aboard as he begins the next chapter of his Air Force and fire service career.

And Cody has another pretty big chapter coming up soon too. 💍 Please join us in congratulating Cody and his fiancée on their upcoming wedding! We wish them both nothing but the best as they get ready for the big day.

- MSgt Timothy Vanden Haak received a Meritorious Service Medal for his outstanding contributions during his time with us!! 🇺🇸

Firefighters are trained and ready to respond when the alarm sounds, but preventing fires starts long before the trucks roll.

At work, every small action matters: reporting hazards, keeping exits clear, using equipment safely, and speaking up when something does not look right.

Fire fighting is a firefighter’s job.
**Fire prevention is everyone’s job.**
