NCBC Battalion is a unit in the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps, a youth development program cultivating tomorrow’s leaders by building confidence through knowledge, training and teamwork while instilling the core values of Honor, Respect, Commitment, & Service. ng strong moral character and life skills through leadership and technical programs modeled after the Navy's professional development system. At the request of the Department of the Navy, the Navy League of the United States established the USNSCC in 1962 to "create a favorable image of the Navy on the part of American youth". Naval Sea Cadet Corps continues to further the image of our maritime services by adhering to a standardized training program designed to:
1. Develop an interest and ability in seamanship and seagoing skills
2. Instill virtues of good citizenship and strong moral principles in each cadet
3. Demonstrate the value of an alcohol-free, drug-free and gang-free lifestyle
4. Expose cadets to the prestige of public service and a variety of career paths through hands-on training with our nation's armed services

Our unit currently has open spots and we are recruiting to fill them this fall.
🗓️Join us for our Fall Open House on Saturday October 10th from 10am-2pm at Camp Fogarty National Guard Base, Building 214.

Come meet our cadets and adult volunteers, see our unit in action, learn about the opportunities available through Sea Cadets, and get answers to your questions about the program.
There is no obligation to join. Come spend some time with us and see if Sea Cadets might be the right fit for your family.
