Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, and passion for photography with us. Each photo gave us a unique glimpse into the railroad, from trains and Bailey Yard to the little moments that make railroading so fascinating.

Starting something new is always exciting, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group of photographers to help us launch Railway Shots! North Platte Rail Days 2026: Taste of Nebraska-Business After Hours was a night to remember, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Golden Spike Tower!

Good food, refreshing drinks, great company, and trains rolling through Bailey Yard made for the perfect evening. But what we loved most was seeing our community come together, mingle, and enjoy a night out at the Tower.

Events like Taste of Nebraska are all about bringing people together, and we’re so glad you chose to spend the evening with us!

Today, the Golden Spike Tower welcomed a fun guest, David Freiburger from Roadkill Garage!
Our Events Manager, Charmaine, even had the chance to grab a quick photo with him during his visit. We always love seeing who makes their way through North Platte and stops by to experience the incredible view of Bailey Yard from the Tower!

The perfect evening doesn’t exist… or does it? An evening filled with good music, tasty ice cream, and trains sounds pretty hard to beat! We don’t think it gets much better than that.

We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Challenger Train at Cody Park during North Platte Rail Days 2026! It was so much fun seeing our community come together, enjoy some music, grab a sweet treat, and spend an evening surrounded by railroad history.

As we look back on North Platte Rail Days 2026, we want to give a huge shout-out and thank you to everyone who joined us at the D&N for our Whistle Stop Kidz Zone!

From little rail fans discovering their love of trains to families spending the day together, it was so much fun seeing the Kidz Zone filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of smiles.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, brought the kids, played, explored, and helped make the Whistle Stop Kidz Zone such a fun part of Rail Days!
