Our 2026 wildland training courses are open to the public, including medical personnel, new wildland firefighters, and seasoned professionals.

Training is presented by a Region 6 MOU provider to ensure compliance with NWCG standards for contractors. All sessions will be held at our facility in North Powder, OR.

We will also be administering an arduous pack tests. Weight vests are available, but to ensure availability please register early. Attendees may bring their own vests if preferred. Please come prepared with appropriate attire for the pack test.

The Field Day is intended for individuals seeking to obtain the basic wildland certifications required for wildland fire assignments. All online modules must be completed through the NWCG prior to attending the Field Day.

Upon registration acceptance, you will receive an email containing your pack test waiver and a training day itinerary.
