At this weeks Northeast Richland Lions Club, we heard from Curtis Green with Sleep In Heavenly Peace - TX, Dallas/Fort Worth

Do you know that approximately 3% of children in the United States live without a proper bed? Affected children often sleep on cold floors, living room couches, or share cramped spaces without basic bedding

Sleep in Heavenly Peace provides beds, at no cost, to children ages 3-17 who are sleeping in undesirable conditions. They have over 400 chapters nationwide and over 30 chapters in Texas.

A great event at Texas Star Golf Course & Conference Centre in Euless, meeting and supporting candidates from across Tarrant County as we head into the home stretch of the midterm election.

There’s still plenty of work to do between now and November 3. Events like this give voters an opportunity to connect with the people asking for their support and hear directly about the issues that matter to our communities.

The finish line is in sight. Let’s keep working, stay engaged, and turn out the vote on November 3.

Day Two of the Republican Midterm Convention in Dallas brought another full day of inspiring messages, meaningful conversations, and familiar faces from across Tarrant County, including right here from North Richland Hills.

The day also included a remembrance of 9/11 and tributes honoring Charlie Kirk, one year after his assassination. Both moments reminded us of the importance of remembering those who have made sacrifices for our country and those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

Meaningful to have been there with fellow Texans and friends from Tarrant County.

Day One of the Midterm Convention is underway, and it’s great to see so many Tarrant County Republicans making the trip to be here.

I’ve enjoyed meeting people from across the county and listening to the message as we look ahead to the work still in front of us.

Good conversations, new connections, and a lot of people committed to making a difference in Tarrant County and in Texas

This evening, Tarrant County Commissioner Matt Krause hosted a town hall to hear directly from residents about the growing conversation surrounding data centers in our region.

Every seat was taken, and residents came prepared to share their concerns, opinions, and perspectives. While there were many voices in the room, one theme remained consistent throughout the evening: a significant number of residents expressed strong opposition to seeing data centers developed in this part of Texas anytime soon.
