On Monday, September 28, 2026 - we will be holding a special council meeting at 6:30pm along with a Committee of the Whole meeting following that, to discuss legislation that Cali Zingale North Ridgeville Council At Large brought forth to hire an outside Law opinion on the referendum that was filed by the citizens.

All meetings will be held in City Council Chambers and are open to the public.

North Ridgeville: Resurfacing of Mills Road is expected to begin Mon., Sept. 14 with completion date of early November.

Specialized Construction will proceed in sections, starting at the east end and moving west.

Repaving work will take place 7am until 7pm; two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers and temporary traffic control devices.

Expect delays or find an alternate route.

This project is being lead by the City of Avon.

Hello North Ridgeville! Tomorrow there will be two Committee meetings. Building and Lands at 6pm and Safety at 7pm to discuss the following:

Building and Lands:
O 2026-71 An Ordinance amending Chapter 1480 Property Maintenance Code of the
North Ridgeville Codified Ordinances to revise certain administrative,
enforcement and exterior maintenance provisions.

Safety Committee:
O 2026-69 An Ordinance amending Chapter 474 Bicycles And Motorcycles Generally of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Ridgeville. (E-Bikes)

All meetings are open to the public and are held in Council Chambers.

We are working on the ever increasing concern with the e-bikes we're all seeing and talking about around town. Concerning conversations have been had for quite a while. This legislation will likely be going to the Safety Committee, to be decided on Monday- where a public meeting will be held. I strongly encourage you to attend! Once it is scheduled, I will post the date here and around a lot of other pages.

Last night we had the opportunity to read the Declaration of Independence at City Hall, in Council Chambers. Our Cub Scout Pack 153 North Ridgeville, Ohio attended and also provided the sweet treats from Mrs. Scott's Sweets, LLC.

Of course we took the leftovers to our North Ridgeville Police Department and North Ridgeville Fire Department - they do love getting treats! 🧁 and Pepper, the Police Departments watch dog got some play time in. 🐕

Great news for Mills Road! On Monday, an ordinance will be introduced for a Cooperative Agreement with the City of Avon for resurfacing of Mills Road from Stoney Ridge to the Westlake border!

As communities across the country prepare to mark America’s 250th anniversary, this program offers a simple way to reflect on the words and ideals that helped shape our nation.

Bring your family, take part in the reading and stay afterward as the Boy Scouts share cake with those in attendance.
