Nevada County Amateur Radio Club - October 14th meeting SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER

Our guest speaker will be Richard Wheeler, AI6RW. He has designed his own multi-band dipole, a proprietary balun that matches a dipole wire antenna.
Richard will provide a primer on baluns and a technical discussion on the design of the balun and antenna system.
There will be several Kits available for $10 each. That is below the cost if you tried to purchase the items yourself.

DONGLE uses in ham radio!!! We'll be looking at the new fascinating USB dongles being used in ham radio. This is radio technology that works with you computer.

It's just TAPR now... "Tucson's" gone, and "Packet" is fading. TAPR is now what you might call a "research engine" in ham radio, with a focus on digital stuff.
