Last batch of signs are in! With the election a little over a month away, I could use some help getting more signs out there.

If you’d like a sign, or know someone who would be willing to put one out, let me know! If you’ve already asked for one and I haven’t gotten it to you yet, please remind me.

And feel free to share this post!

Thank you to my friend Cassaundra Fryman for Huron County for sharing this with me.

I attended the Village of Plymouth’s Council Meeting last night, where I had the opportunity to introduce myself and share what I’m running for.

It’s been great traveling to different Township and Village Council meetings throughout the county during this election season. I believe that if you’re asking people to trust you to represent them, you should take the time to get out into the communities you hope to serve, listen to people, learn what matters to them and they need to know the same about me.

I appreciate everyone who took the time to welcome me and let me speak. I’m looking forward to continuing to visit communities throughout Huron County and meeting more of the people I hope to represent.

Here’s a great article from Richland Source about last night’s meeting and some of the important issues Plymouth is working on:

Plymouth Village Council met with an ordinance and two resolutions on the agenda, dealing with pipes, pavements, and a dose of politics.

Thanks to everyone who came out for our meet and greet last night. We appreciate the turnout and I appreciate all the questions that were asked. It was a great to hear what is important to people from different parts of Huron County.

Another fun time on the campaign trail. This one will be a little more memorable since one of my kids threw up in the car on the way home from riding too many rides! Other than that though a great time at the New London Parks & Rec Events Labor Day Festival. Just one more example of how awesome and family friendly Huron County is. Just don’t ride too many rides!

Here is some information about me, some of the things I’m running on and priorities if I’m lucky enough to get elected.

Hello to all my Monroeville friends and supporters!

I’ll be in Monroeville tomorrow dropping off signs for those who have requested one. If you’d like a sign in your yard, just let me know!

Brycen and I will also be attending the Monroeville football game tomorrow night, so I can bring a sign with me and give you one after the game.

Thanks for all your support!

Had an opportunity to speak at the Greenwich Village Council Meeting this evening to introduce myself and talk about why I’m running. Of course while in town I had to stop at Buddies in BBQ. A true gem of Huron County. If you haven’t had a chance to try them yet, I recommend you do!

Which is why I’ll be going around to a couple local Huron County High Schools in the next couple of months to speak to kids directly. We need to find out why they are leaving Huron County and what can we do as local leaders to help make Huron County more attractive to stay. We need to start listening to the youth instead of us thinking we know what’s best for them.

Huron County is projected to add more manufacturing jobs than it loses through 2030, but population and housing trends could create problems, local leaders said at a forum this week: https://tinyurl.com/38jkbrk9
