If you use Hoopla, do not miss Bonus Borrows. During the last seven days of each month, Hoopla offers a rotating collection of titles that do not count against your monthly borrows. This is perfect for the end of the month when you have already used your regular borrows but still want something new to read, watch, or listen to.

Did you know your Kindle has its own private email address?

The "Send to Kindle" feature is an absolute game-changer. You can take any EPUB ebook, PDF, Word document, or long web article and send it directly to your Kindle library at no cost.

To find your unique email address, just go to your Amazon account, click "Manage Your Content and Devices," and look under the Preferences tab. You can email files directly to that address, or you can use the free "Send to Kindle" web portal (amazon.com/sendtokindle) to drag and drop files straight from your computer. It is the perfect way to read book club PDFs, free public-domain classics, or fan fiction without straining your eyes on a phone screen.

And here is a lesser-known tip: if you do spend a credit on a book and end up hating it, Audible has a 365-day return policy. You can return the audiobook within a year of purchase and get your credit back to use on something else.
