Officers responded to a call about a person firing a gun. Upon arrival, it was determined several people were inside a garage handling multiple guns. One person failed to make sure the gun was unloaded before pulling the trigger. The gun went off and the bullet traveled across the street, striking a neighbor’s garage door.
A registered s*x offender exposed himself to a female neighbor. The offender is on probation for s*xual misconduct involving a child, with similar circumstances to this case. He was arrested and charged with Sexual Misconduct 1st and issued a $10,000 cash only bond.
An elderly driver accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake, causing a head-on collision with another driver. Airbags deployed and one driver was transported to the hospital.
Graffiti was found on playground equipment of a school, possibly caused by juveniles operating mini bikes in the area over the weekend.
Officers assisted the O’Fallon Fire Protection District with a house fire determined to be caused by a lightning strike, several hours after the homeowner attempted to reset the circuit breaker. The home was condemned.
An officer stopped a driver for multiple moving traffic violations. The driver was placed under arrest for Driving While Revoked and during a search, drug paraphernalia and a powdery substance believed to be co***ne were found and taken for testing.
A stolen car was seen on Flock cameras traveling through Springfield, Missouri. The car was found in Labette County, Kansas, and two juveniles were taken into custody.
School district security discovered the word “green” spray painted on an outside brick wall of a school.
