Today as I was taking the AFT on the birthday of the U.S. Army JAG Corps (founded on July 29, 1775). I am just constantly humbled to be a part of the Nation's "oldest law firm" and the amazing history JAGs have helped shape for this great nation- from the beginning and the trial of Maj Andre to prosecuting War Crimes during World War II (pictured below) to now continuing to give expert legal advice in service to those that serve, again- just humbling.

From serving in the Missouri National Guard to serving on the bench as one of your Associate Circuit Judges, I am thankful.

Our family took the long and peaceful drive up to Hannibal, MO to visit the Freedom250 Mobile Museum … to find out it was canceled and not here (but I even wore the right shoes?!?).

We played on the playground in the heat and headed home. Sometimes it’s about making great times together instead of the best laid plans.

Independence Day remains one of the most special days of the year for me. From the privilege of serving my country or serving the Constitution every day, it is humbling.

To quote the late Chris Kyle "I've lived the literal meaning of the 'land of the free' and 'home of the brave.' Its not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest..."

Sundae Sunday!
Judge Lassiter and his wife Julie had a fantastic time connecting with the community at the candidate meet-and-greet hosted by the St. Charles County Election Authority. It was a wonderful opportunity to have face-to-face conversations.

We know navigating the judicial section of the ballot can be a challenge. That’s exactly why we invite you to keep following this page. Join us on Sunday, June 14 from 2-5 p.m. at the St. Charles County Election Authority (397 Turner Blvd., St. Peters).
