CCAC Renewable Energy Program

CCAC Renewable Energy Program A tuition program that introduces students to the technical aspects of solar/small wind energy, solar thermal energy, and hydrogen fuel cell technology.

The technology-driven curriculum delivered in modules will focus on the mechanics of green energy, rather than the philosophical study of the environment. Students successfully completing the program will receive a certificate from the college. Topics covered include:
•Solar Thermal Heating Systems
•Solar Photovoltaic Systems
•Wind Turbine Systems
•Grid-Tie Systems
•Pipes and Pumping Systems
•Bio-Fuel/Hydrogen Fuel Cells
