We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office for awarding the Oakdale Area Volunteer Fire Department a Volunteer Firefighter Equipment and Training (VFEAT) Grant.

This funding allowed our department to purchase new turnout gear and new SCBA air packs, replacing aging equipment and providing our firefighters with the protection they need when responding to emergencies in our community.

For a small volunteer department, an investment like this makes a tremendous difference. Our members give their time freely to serve Oakdale and the surrounding area, and having safe, dependable equipment allows them to do that job with greater confidence and protection.

We are extremely grateful to the State Fire Marshal’s Office and the State of Tennessee for continuing to invest in volunteer fire departments and the men and women who serve their communities.

Thank you for helping us better protect the firefighters who protect our community.
