**SHARE OF INFORMATION**

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office issued a press release of two incidents of possible child enticement. The first incident occurred in Nickerson on Monday, 11/28/2022 at approximately 6:05 p.m. The second incident occurred in Uehling on Wednesday, 11/30/2022 at approximately 5:26 p.m.

An older white male driving a black van with silver rims and a possible dent on the driver's side approached a child in both towns. It was reported the child in Nickerson was asked to get in the black van and was offered a ride home. The child in Uehling was offered an item from the van to which the older male indicated he had more of. Both children were able to flee and alert for help. The press release from Dodge County is attached to this post as well.

Anyone with further information is asked to contact local law enforcement and Dodge County Sheriff's Office.

**PUBLIC NOTICE**

On 9/27/2022, at approximately 2013 hours, multiple agencies of Burt County were advised of a shooting incident in Oakland inside of a residence in the 300 block of North Oakland Avenue.

Upon scene, authorities discovered a male party suffering from a single gun shot wound. The male party was later pronounced deceased.

The investigation is on going and being investigated by the Nebraska State Patrol and any further information will come in coordination with them.

There is no threat posed to the public, no further information.

Daniel Hanna was located and taken into custody without incident at approximately 4:27 p.m. at a residence in Oakland.

The Oakland Police Department would like to thank members from the Burt County Sheriff's Office and Nebraska State Patrol for their assistance in keeping our community safe and apprehending Daniel.

Also, a giant thank you to our community for keeping us updated on Daniel’s whereabouts. The information received was key in locating Daniel.

Thank you all again for your assistance.

Public Service Announcement: Law Enforcement Attempt To Locate

The Oakland Police Department is attempting to locate Daniel Hanna of Oakland, NE.

If this individual is seen, do NOT approach. Please contact Burt County Dispatch to advise of information at (402) 374-2900. Dial 911 in the event of any emergency.

Daniel was last seen shirtless and wearing white pants. Daniel is a white 58 year old male, approximately 6'0" and 200 lbs. Daniel has short blonde hair and blue eyes.

Here's the updated 8 am severe weather outlook for the area. The focus for severe storms really holds off until after 5-6 pm, and MAINLY in northeast Nebraska (in the orange highlight on the map). Areas along/south of Interstate 80 have a lower risk for severe storms, and in fact, these locations may not see much for storms or rain at all.
