The intent of BART SBSS Pre-bid services are to help small businesses to pursue opportunities on upcoming BART Earthquake Safety Program contracts by providing support with requirements for the bidding process. SUMMARY OF SCOPE: Provide all management, coordination, professional services, labor, equipment, tools, materials required to construct modifications to BART facilities including structural and related work consisting of bracing existing elevator towers and adjacent structures at 3 District-owned parking structures, installation of metal enclosures at 4 locations, installation of seismic restraints at the Lake Merritt Administration (LMA) building train control computer room and repair of delaminated finish coating of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) wrapped column casings at various locations.
