Workers and families who have lost work/pay are able to collect their unemployment benefits due to the North Bay Fires. FEMA has made the determination that Sonoma and Napa counties qualify for Disaster Unemployment Assistance, and we’re told that EDD will soon be posting information on its website about the program, which starts the clock on the 30-day filing period.
