More than Smart (MTS), formerly Greentech Leadership Group, is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization started in 2009 on the premise that green energy and climate policies are driven by thoughtful, diverse and politically minded people working together to develop new and innovative solutions. MTS has a proven track record in developing and implementing polices in areas such as promoting energy efficient electronics, improving cap and trade offset options, enabling regional cleantech funding and now in upgrading the distribution grid. All MTS programs are focused on upgrading the electricity distribution grid to a state can enable more DER, enabling more players in DER markets and enabling a networked grid that can enhance other existing infrastructure grids like water and natural gas.
