For those of you that didn't know, Facebook has introduced a new update which requires page administrators to pay to promote status updates to fans who already like our page. If we do not pay to promote our posts, only about 10% (or less) of our fans will receive our updates in their news feeds. That means you're probably not seeing many of the updates and photos we post.To keep receiving all of our posts, hover your mouse on the "Like" button near our name. In the drop-down menu select "Add to interest lists" and "Show in News Feed." It is recommended that you follow the above instructions for any page you care about, so you can continue seeing all the posts from the pages that you already like. Stacy Keibler is joining the American Cancer Society to encourage people to enroll in the Cancer Prevention Study - 3 (CPS-3). We are enrolling men and women ages 30 - 65 who have never been diagnosed with cancer. Having a diverse population to study allows us to examine genetic as well as lifestyle difference in relation to cancer occurrence and prevention. UCLA CAC will be having their CPS-3 kickoff on Tuesday. Some of the ideas they are already brewing is setting Community Champion & personal recruitment ("encourage to enroll) goals! The CAC President is going to be a champion! Additionally, according to the CAC President, CPS-3 will tie in perfectly with the strategic outreach they have begun with the administration and the faculty on campus for greater participation in the RFL this year. They are so excited!

DID YOU KNOW?

Lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgender people have been targeted by the tobacco industry.

LGBT Youth are targeted by tobacco companies through:
-Direct advertising
