Uniting community to connect organizations and businesses for a common purpose -- providing mentoring, summer activities and paid jobs for young people.
Each year, the academic school year comes to an end. Each summer, it is desired for young people to engage in activities that enhance and inspire their growth while influencing their future. Here comes Summer Connections Oakland! At Summer Connections, young people (middle schoolers to young adults) will connect with organizations and businesses in the Oakland community who are committed to the success of our young people! Summer Connections is fueled by neighbors in the North Oakland community and its environs who believe wholeheartedly in the quote, “Where there is not community, trust, respect, ethical behavior are difficult for the young to learn and for the old to maintain." ― Robert K. Greenleaf, Servant As Leader

Support Group :: Special Invitation from Cory Roberson of SoCap Missions!
If you need to bounce off an idea from someone who's in the hustle, come out either 7/3 or 7/10 in Oakland at 6:30pm. Don't know all the answers, but I am doing (or at least tried out) a few different hustles. And perhaps, you can teach me something--I'm meeting with someone next week to get schooled on his hustle. I'm always a student as well.
