A huge thank you to everyone who accepted our HMR page link.
We have a lot of work to do in the next 12 months to create our new backcountry rope rescue program. We’re excited and motivated to get it done and share our experience with those who respond when the call for help is heard.

David has been involved with emergency response for 24 years. His rope access and rescue knowledge was build from rock climbing, industrial access, communications tower climbing, crane operations, and SAR.
He is a husband, father, grandfather, as well as, a Captain at the Ft. Smith FD. His responsibilities as the SAR Coordinator with Franklin Co. has been instrumental in the creation of this program and its emphasis on lightweight equipment.

Jason has a long history with emergency response and the outdoors. He is the Chief at Clarksville FD and a Captain at the Russellville FD.
He's a devoted husband and father and an accomplished photographer. Jason brings years of experience performing real life rescues and a passion for sharing his craft. His professionalism and attention to detail, helps HMR maintain our status as one of the best training programs in the region.

In the next few days, HMR will showcase our instructors. They are the core of HMR’s reputation as an excellent resource for backcountry rescue training for the Ozark and Ouachita mountain areas.

Kyle brings a wide range of experience to the team, with a background in SAR and rock climbing. He was a whitewater rafting guide, is a long distance backpacker, and a certified arborist as well as an avid outdoors person.
Kyle's ability to explain technical engineering theory so that everyone understands is a real asset to our team. This skill along with his patience helps HMR to create a well rounded rope access and rescue program.

We’re back!
Kyle, Jason, and I have decided to create a course titled Backcountry Rope Rescue. This course will be ready next year in the fall.
