Happy Pride Month!

Pride is so much more than a celebration. It is a powerful reminder of the resilience, joy, and profound impact the LGBTQ+ community has on our culture, our history, and our lives.

To every LGBTQ+ individual in our community: we see you, we love you, and we celebrate exactly who you are.

True allyship means showing up when the cameras are off and when the festivals end. It means standing shoulder to shoulder in solidarity, fiercely defending trans lives, protecting hard-won rights, and fighting to ensure everyone can live safely, authentically, and out loud.

We are incredibly grateful for the courage and love the LGBTQ+ community brings to the world. We are with you in the celebration, and we are with you in the fight. Today and every day, we stand together.

Who speaks for Ogden when City Hall goes quiet? The Council isn't holding another public forum till May 19th, but weā€™re keeping the conversation moving. The Peopleā€™s Town Hall is an open forum designed by the community, for the community. Weā€™re gathering to discuss the issues that matter most to you. No podiumsā€”just the people. Angela Berryman Choberka has been a strong leader and advocate for community initiatives that benefit everyone. Angela has been dedicated and worked towards making sure that health care is affordable and accessible for everyone. Angela has proven in her leadership as a teacher and as the previous Vice-Chair and Chair of Ogden City Council that people first policies are effective for local leadership. Recently in January of 2026 Governor Spencer Cox appointed Dakota to the Olene Walker Housing Loan Fund Board.
